DUI Charges In Overnight Fatality
Two people transported to hospital following Moncks Corner wreck.
A woman has been charged with felony DUI in a Tuesday night wreck in Moncks Corner.
The victim, 47-year-old Candy Zoll of Moncks Corner, died after she was transported to a local emergency room, according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury. She died from blunt force trauma, Salisbury said.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Zoll was traveling south in her 2000 Saturn at 8:42 p.m. on Broughton Road in Moncks Corner. A 2005 BMW heading in the opposite direction crossed the center line and struck her vehicle head on.

The driver of the BMW, 33-year-old Shana Robinson, has been charged with felony DUI, according to the SCHP. Robinson and her passenger, 23-year-old Brittany Hartley were transported to MUSC. Neither were wearing their seatbelts, according to SCHP.
