"The Junior Naturalist series features hands-on science discovery, journaling and art to encourage children to have fun while learning about the natural world. Attend six of the eight programs to become a certified Junior Naturalist.
"Have you ever wondered what flowers taste like? Join us and you might find out! Discover plant anatomy, diversity and cool uses of local plants.
"Adult chaperones are welcome to attend and require no registration."
For ages 8-12.

On more than 1,000 acres off University Boulevard in North Charleston, a short drive from Goose Creek or Hanahan, Wannamaker includes a variety of resources.
There's two miles of paved trails, more than seven acres of meadows, an off-leash dog park, a large playground and play hill, a sprinkler play area, several picnic shelters, and sand volleyball courts.
Wannamker is also home to the Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark, open seasonally for an additional charge.
Regular admintance is $1 per person, regardless of whether you are a Charleston County resident. When there is an additional charge for special events, Charleston County residents typically get a discount.
