  the ice.\n"The following equipment is recommended: helmet\, elbow/knee 
 pads\, shin pads/guards\, sneakers or broomball shoes. The Carolina Ice 
 Palace has 24 brooms along with some helmets\, knee and elbow pads.\n"An
 yone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend. Just show up around 1:45pm
  and sign in at the front desk. We hope to  have enough interest so that
  we can organize a Charleston Broomball  League."
