The City of Goose Creek's annual July 4th festival will be held by the pond at the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center, beginning with live music and ending with a fireworks display. There will be no shuttle bus this year, so parking will be limited. Music will be provided by the "Right to Party" band. Food vendors and children's activities will also be available. No coolers, alcohol, pets or outside fireworks including sparklers please.

More About Goose Creek City Hall
The City of Goose Creek was founded in 1961, as a community that largely supported local military installations, which currently includes Joint Base Charleston — Naval Weapons Station. The municipality had a population of 35,938, according to the 2010 census.
City Council includes concil members Marguerite H. Brown, Kimo Esarey, Sal Gandolfo, John McCants, Mark Phillips and Jerry Tekac. Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler was first elected in 1976.
For two years in a row, Goose Creek has been named among the "Best Places to Raise Your Kids" by Bloomberg Businessweek.
