City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in council chambers. Members of Council are elected to a four year term in a non-partisan election every other November.
The mayor is Minnie Blackwell. Council members include Mayor Pro-Tem Michael Sally, Mike Dyson, Dan Owens, Jeff Chandler, Kevin Cox and Joel Hodges.
City Hall includes the Police Department, Municipal Court and administrative services, including planning, finance and human resources.
