Trident Technical College is offering a new wilderness survival course beginning in September.
The course costs $189 and includes a wilderness survival kit, valued at $100.
This course offers training in basic first aid and wilderness first aid, including environmental issues and survival skills. Learn skills that can help you get home safely such as bleeding control, shock management, heat and cold emergency management, animal bite/insect sting treatment, water procurement,shelter building, fire starting and maintenance, compass navigation, and evacuation techniques.
