Halloween Carnival and Movie Oct. 27
City plans holiday event and outdoor screening of Madagascar 3.

Scare up some family fun at City of Goose Creek’s Free Halloween Carnival and Outdoor Movie set for Saturday, Oct. 27, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Goose Creek Community Center parking lot.
This annual event began more than 20 years ago as an alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Over the years some features were added and some were taken out, but the basics are still the same. The Halloween Carnival provides an opportunity for Goose Creek children to enjoy carnival games and win some candy to take home.

The Carnival will also feature a free jump castle and face painting for the kids.
Following the carnival there will be a free outdoor movie behind the Municipal Center. The featured film will be Madagascar 3, the third movie in the popular animated Madagascar series. Be sure to bring your chairs or blankets and enjoy the show.
The Halloween Carnival is sponsored by the City of Goose Creek, the Goose Creek Recreation Booster Club, Goose Creek Heating and Air and WalMart. For more information call the Goose Creek Community Center at 569-4242.
