Goose Creek's free Sounds of Summer concert series continues Friday night with the Local Motion Party Band.

The band will play 6-9 p.m. at Crowfield Golf Club.

The Local Motion Party Band is a variety band based in Charleston. The band plays dance music consisting of popular beach music, motown, oldies, current R&B and northern soul, modern pop hits and classic hits from the sixties through today.

The band is usually a six piece lineup, with Jeanine Petit on vocals, Daniel Walker on vocals and keyboards, Mike Wilson on guitar, Laurin McGee on sax, Dan Stacy on drums and Greg Myers on bass and vocals. All musicians currently live in Charleston, but come from all over the country. The band has been together since 2010.

Sounds of Summer concert series continues through June 28.
