It's time for a locally-built Dreamliner to leave the nest.
We've watched two Boeing 787s from "off" take flight for No. 1 customer Air India. But the planes made at the North Charleston facility are finally ready for delivery, according to a report by Reuters.
The North Charleston-built jet, for Air India , is "ticketed" and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration, which means it is ready for delivery, a Boeing official said on Wednesday.
Patch was there when Boeing rolled out the first locally-made Dreamliner earlier this year.
