Donsurvi Chisolm has yet to face a jury for the death of his 14-year-old nephew, but he's already been . Chisolm was convicted Monday of killing Craig M. Canady Jr. in Dorchester County in 2007. While on bail for that crime, he allegedly killed his nephew and wounded his brother last April in Goose Creek.

Detainee treatment at the Hanahan Navy brig was back in the news Monday as that former detainee Jose Padilla got off easy with a reduced sentence after alleged mistreatment he faced at the Hanahan facility. The sent the case back to court for a stiffer penalty than the 17 years he recieved.
