Kenneth Douglas Lake, Jr., 39, of Goose Creek passed away May 6, 2013.
Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of Kenneth Lake, Sr. and Mary Hewlett and husband to Melody Ann Lake. Kenneth served his country in the United States Navy and worked as a structure mechanic for Boeing. He loved riding his motorcycle and shooting. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, son and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Melody Ann Moriniti Lake of the home; four children, Anna Marie Lake, Donald Lake, Evan Lake and Mira Lake; parents, Mary Hewlett and husband Robert of Chesapeake, VA and Kenneth Lake, Sr. and wife Janet of Cary, NC; two sisters, Mallory Newton and Bethany Lake both of Cary, NC., one uncle, Clifford Lake of Louisana.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, with reception to follow. Online condolences can be sent to www.mcalister-smith.com
