Lisa L. Smith Wright, 43, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10 at Trident Hospital. Born January 16, 1970 to Geneva and Whither Smith. She had spent most of her life in Goose Creek. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister, but was noted for being an extraordinary grandmother. She loved her friends, family and her dog Tonto. She was cherished by everyone that knew her. 

Survivors are her dad and mother, Joe and Geneva Richey; her children, Kristy (Owen) Braxton of Ravenel, Justin, Brandy and Ashley Wright of the home. She had four grandchildren, Braiden Wright, Aniyah Johnson, Hailey and Cody Braxton. Her sisters are Penny Stokes, Billie Jo Cason, Holly Carroll of Goose Creek, Pamela Bickel of Peru, IN, Beth Hollmon of Jedburg, Lynn Dobson of Warrenberg, MO, Frances Schroeder of Ridgeville and Kathy Miller of Virginia Beach, VA and special friend, Wilber (Gator) Smoak of Goose Creek and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 
She was predeceased by her father, Whither W. Smith; her husband, Eddie Wright and a sister, Teresa L. Rentschler. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Carolina Memorial Funeral home from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place in Carolina Memorial Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with burial following in Carolina Memorial Park.
