Obituary: Stanley Arthur Stephen Scott

Stanley Arthur Stephen Scott, 54, of Goose Creek, husband to Jenise Scott, passed away June 27, 2013.

Born in Paris, France, he was the son of the late Milton and Elaine Meeks Scott.  Stan grew up in a military family, moving frequently as a child.  After settling in Goose Creek, Stan opened The Glass Shoppe.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Mr. Scott enjoyed playing golf and fishing.  Stan was a member of MacArthur Lodge #427.

 Mr. Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jenise Malone Scott, four children, Jason A. Scott and wife Suzanne, Stanley A. Scott, Jr. and wife Kelly, Jessica L. Scott and Stephanie D. Scott all of Goose Creek; brother, Randy Scott of Ridgeville; two sisters, April Travers and husband Michael of Summerville and Linda Moses and husband George of Virginia.  Stan is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Hunter, Sierra, Stanley, Morgan, Stephen, Jordan and Jamie.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 869 St. James Avenue.  The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in funeral home.
