There was one red handprint on the wall in the men's bathroom. Another red handprint was found leading into the women's bathroom. Inside, there were handprints on the restroom stalls, the mirrors and the sinks.

Police followed a trail of red paint from the bathrooms to a classroom door that had been decorated with red handprints by students in the class. School administrators told police they would review security footage for possible suspects.
