Boy Finds Body at Dogwood Park off of Liberty Hall Road

A 13-year-old boy discovered the body of a 40-year-old man at the playground near Liberty Hall Road Wednesday afternoon, according to a Goose Creek Police incident report.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury side Thursday the victim is William Kuhn of North Charleston. The death has been ruled a homicide and the cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the head.

At around 5 p.m. Wednesday, the young teenager arrived at the playground at Dogwood Park by bicycle, according to the report. He noticed the man and called out to him. When the man did not respond, he left to get his 17-year-old brother, and both returned to the scene, according to the report. Then both alerted their father, who alerted the authorities, according to the report.
