Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has arrested four suspects in Ladson, charging each with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.
Those arrested include Megan Davies, 20; Marlene LeClair, 50; Marlon Shamblin, 32; and Jacques Waite, 24.
According to Sheriff's Office Capt. Mike Williams, the county's Drug Enforcement Unit allegedly found "numerous items conducive to the manufacturing of methamphetamine" at 1009-B Royle Road.

A day earlier, agents found a lab with components for methamphetamine manufacturing at 13 Raritan Road, near Goose Creek. Deputies arrested Christopher Keen, 44, and Andrea Marcum, 32.

"The Berkeley County Drug Enforcement Unit is very active in uncovering meth labs and other drug cases throughout Berkeley County," said Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Moon.
