Man Involved in Fatal Meth Lab Explosion Sentenced to 25 Years

A man manufacturing illegal drugs in an apartment complex, which erupted in flames and killed three people in 2012, has received a sentence of 25 years for his part in the crime, multiple media outlets report Thursday.

Jerald McCabe, 34, was one of two men charged in the fatal incident at Pine Harbour Apartments. McCabe and Shonni Abernathy, 40, were both one charge of conspiring to manufacture methamphetamine and two counts of manufacturing methamphetamine where children reside.

McCabe and Abernathy pleaded guilty earlier this year

Victims included Abernathy's 19-year-old daughter Morgan. The two otehrs were Samuel Garbe, 4, and Joseph Raeth, 69.
