Police Investigate Attempted Burglary in Pineview

Goose Creek Police responded to break-in attempt at same home a week earlier.

A Carolina Avenue resident notified police Thursday when she came home to find that a window had been busted out in an apparent attempt to break-in to the house.

The woman had left early in the morning and arrived after a long shift to find the damage. This is the second time in a week that the home has been targeted.

Officers searched the home and the property, finding a cinder block underneath the damaged window. It's believed that the unknown suspect used the cinder block in trying to get into the home.
