Mayor Proclaims Fleet Reserve Association Days

City recognizing nonprofit from Aug. 22-26.

Release, City of Goose Creek:

Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler signed a proclamation declaring August 22-26, "Fleet Reserve Association Days" in the City of Goose Creek. Mayor Heitzler met with representatives of the Fleet Reserve Association to sign the proclamation.

The Fleet Reserve Association is a non-profit service organization chartered by the Federal government with more than 70,000 career enlisted and former enlisted personnel of the Unites States Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

This month, the members of the Fleet Reserve Association will hold its 67th Southeast Region Convention.
