Goose Creek Kids Say Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss

Students at Marrington Elementary honor the famous author.

Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. As a culminating activity for the week, Marrington honored Dr. Suess, The Cat in the Hat aka Marrington Elementary School Principal Barb Webber greeted and delighted the students at her school. Webber (The Cat and the Hat) read to Mrs. Renee Moehller’s kindergarten students.
