Middle School Students Learn to Be Positive Agents

Press release by Westview Middle School

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, students  in grades 6-8 attended an assembly about Rachel’s Challenge. The presentation focused on the inspiring life and goals of Rachel Joy Scott, who was the first victim of the mass shooting that took place at Columbine High School in 1999. Rachel desired that her life be one of purpose and that she make a positive impact on the world around her. Students were moved and dedicated themselves at the end of the session to be positive agents with their school and communities.
