Berkeley County School District will pursue the purchase of 28 acres near Goose Creek Reservoir for an elementary school to ease overcrowding at Goose Creek Primary, Sedgefield Intermediate and Hanahan Elementary, the Post and Courier reported.
Charleston Water System owns the land near Tanner Plantation. The new school is part of the $198 million bond passed November 2012.
