Stratford Theater's 'The Rehearsal' Opens Friday

The play centers on students rehearsing for a production of Guys and Dolls said Melissa Dertian, head of Stratford's Fine Arts Department.

"It illuminates the struggles of putting on a high school musical with students who are self-absorbed, inexperienced and uncooperative,” she said. "Imagine the drama of Glee with bad singing, and you get The Rehearsal. The show is fun for all ages."

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in the Stratford High auditorium, 951 Crowfield Blvd., Goose Creek. Tickets are $6 at the door, and support the school's theater program.
