Hanahan citizens are pushing for the new elementary school to be built on Foster Creek Road, the Post and Courier reported.
Tanner Plantation residents met with Berkeley County School District and pushed it to build its proposed elementary school to a site that will have a lesser impact than the site on the Goose Creek Reservoir. The preferred site by residents is on Foster Creek Road.
