Smoak, the first baseman for the Mariners in Seattle, is batting .214, with a record four hits Tuesday night.

Bleacher Report noted that kind of success won't come every night, but it could be a good indicator of things to come for Smoak.

If he can continue to see the ball as well as he is, it would not be a surprise to see him batting around .300 in no time, and possibly staying there.

Ballots are available at MLB ballparks and online. Voting ends June 28.
