Devon Forest is located in the growing northern end of Goose Creek.
The school has a large student body of 882, with 41 teachers. The school has three computer labs.
Principal Christie Mitchum and Assistant Principal Melissa Willis have a school actively supported by the community that surrounds it.
In 2010-11, the school was awarded a Palmetto Gold award for student performance improvement and a Palmetto Silver award for closing the achievement gap. It has also recently won the Red Carpet Award for a family-friendly environment.
Devon Forest staff uses the Positive behavior Intervention and Support program, reinforcing expectations throughout the year and rewarding positive behavior.
