The City of Goose Creek's Police Department and Municipal Court are a part of the Marguerite Brown Municipal Center.
The city has more than 60 officers and a civilian staff of more than two dozen.Divisions include patrol, criminal investigations, special operations and provessional standards. Harvey Becker has been in Goose Creek for three decades and has served as Chief of Police since 1989.

Municipal Court are at 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays. Jury trials are at 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
