The arts-infused magnet is celebrating its tenth year in the 2011-12 school year. "It's not an art school — we're not Fame," said principal Christopher Swetckie. "But we're not your traditional elementary school. We found the balance."
The school provides a unique magnet program infusing the arts into the daily curriculum. Students are selected through a lottery, with no tests or other requirements.
