Facing growing alarm from parents and students, Skip ReVille begged parents to not go to police.
Facing mounting questions about his conduct, prolific molester Louis "Skip" ReVille dashed off a two-page letter to parents that attempted to explain away some of his behavior. Just days before his arrest, apparently sensing the trouble he was in, ReVille attempted to explain "games" he played with young men that involved touching, flashing of genitals and questions about their pubescent development. Patch was the first to report on the existence of the email in December, but the actual document had been sealed until the end of his criminal case. Mount Pleasant Police released the letter today. “I should have been the adult but I failed. I let Satan work through me, despite the many opportunities that I had to end it all,” ReVille wrote in…

The former coach and private school administrator admits to molesting a number of boys over 10-year period.
Skip ReVille faced a judge Wednesday morning on 48 counts of abuse in three counties. Dressed in a jail jumpsuit and with both his hands and feet shackled, ReVille pleaded guilty to each of the charges as the judge read the indictments against him from Charleston, Berkley and Dorchester counties. Because ReVille pleaded guilty to the charges, he forfeits his right to a trial by a jury of his peers. Shortly after lunch on Wednesday, the Judge sentenced Reville to 50 years of prison, of which he will serve at least 85 percent. That would potentially allow him to leave prison at 74 years old, if he is seemed "safe." At which point, he would serve an additional five years of supervised release. Solicitor Scarlett Wilson said it's unlikely that…
